Who We Are
We are women veterans united by service, leadership, and a shared commitment to The American Legion. Each of us served our nation during a designated wartime period, and each of us carries forward the values of strength, dedication, and sisterhood.
The Twenty and Four recognizes members who have given exceptional service to The American Legion through leadership, committee work, and sustained support of Legion programs — women who lead, serve, and make a lasting difference.
What We Do
The Twenty and Four is committed to serving women veterans with compassion, dignity, and practical support. Our first priority is to help disabled and needy women veterans by connecting them with resources and assistance, including disability claim guidance, referrals to community programs, employment and housing support, and access to clothing, personal care items, and financial help.
We also bring comfort and companionship to women veterans in hospitals and nursing homes through visits, calls, needed care items, and the gift of friendship.
In addition, we proudly support The American Legion’s mission by promoting programs that assist veterans, active-duty service members, their families, and our communities. We do this through fundraising, recruitment, and active participation in our local Post and community events.
